our adventures with dylan, the conclusion

we tried to keep dylan entertained as much as possible while he was here. (key word "tried")

unfortunately, i think he probably spent more time hanging out at the house with me and kids than anything else...

however, i don't think that bothered him too much.

the things we DID end up doing probably made up for all the down time and i know he had fun while he was here.

Along with the previously documented activities (movies, trips to the mall and our family cookouts), we also...

-went to st. augustine

-went to the beach

-went to the MOSH museum

-went to Adventure Landing (boys night with russ and cousin ryan)

-went camping IN (poor natalie was sick and they weren't able to actually sleep outside like planned)

-had game night

-rented some horribly scary movie called The Fourth Kind (per his request) (we had to all sleep in the living room that night and i was still too scared to fall asleep)

-worked on our 2,000 piece puzzle of The Last Supper (after getting overwhelmed and ignoring it for awhile, dylan's interest in it gave me the motivation to want to finish it -- we are almost there thanks to him!)

so, i know it sounds like a lot, but there really was a lot of down town in between all of that!

here are some pictures...

the water was so blue
and the beach was just gorgeous

natalie's idea to be "opposite"
now just being silly
meanwhile russell was in a bad mood and didn't want to look at the camera
